Naomi Jenkin features in BBC Spotlight
I was thrilled last week to be invited to the BBC Spotlight studios to do an interview about my wildlife art and the Wildlife Artist of the Year 2022 award.
I took in some of my original wildlife paintings, which we set up on display in the studio. I was delighted to find that the crew had also projected some of my pet portrait and wildlife art onto the big screens surrounding the studio. The director said he’d had great fun setting the studio up into an art gallery to showcase my work!
Victoria Graham interviewed me for the Friday evening news slot and we talked all about the Wildlife Artist of the Year 2022 award, what goes into creating a drawing, and how my career first started. Victoria and the whole crew were so lovely and welcoming and I can’t thank them enough for having me, and for making it all a really exciting and wonderful experience.
