Naomi was fantastic from start to finish. Responsive and helpful. The portrait of our Molly was better than we could have imagine and we adore it. Thank you Naomi!
How to get started
Before you book your pet portrait, there’s a few things you need to decide on. This section of my website is designed to give you all the information you need to make the right choices for you. I want your portrait to be the best it can be, so will guide you every step of the way and offer tailored advice to suit your needs.
Photos
The first step to booking your portrait is to send me a few high-quality photos of your pet. They must be clear and of good quality, ideally taken in natural daylight. I need to be able to see enough detail so that I can clearly see their features, particularly the eyes and direction of the fur.
Please read my photo guide for tips on choosing suitable photos, and details on how to send me your photos.
Portrait size
The next step is to decide on the size of your artwork. Please view my prices page for my full list of sizes and prices. If you need help choosing a suitable size, my size guide has some useful pointers.
Completion date
If you are gifting your portrait to a loved one, and need it completed for a specific date, please contact me to find out if I can work to your time frame. I always do my best to accommodate where possible. My waiting list does vary during the course of the year though, so please get in contact to find out my current availability.
Deposit
Once we’ve agreed a time frame, and you’ve sent me your reference photos and size preference, then a 50% deposit will be required to secure your booking. I’ll issue you with an invoice and payment can be made via PayPal, bank transfer, cheque, or cash if local. Your booking will not be confirmed until I’ve received this deposit.
Seeing your portrait come to life
I’ll be in touch with you just before I start drawing your artwork, to let you know it’s in progress. You’ll be able to view work-in-progress images and videos on my social media channels throughout the creation process. Of course, if your artwork is a gift, I’m more than happy to keep everything secret until you’ve gifted it to your loved one. If you wish, I can email you progress photos privately, so you can still enjoy seeing the creation process without ruining the surprise for your loved one.

Your finished portrait
When your portrait is complete, I will email you a photograph of it to check you are happy. Should you wish me to make any tweaks, I am happy to do these at no additional cost until you are completely satisfied. If the alterations are significantly different from the initial order there may be an additional cost. I always make sure you are completely satisfied with the portrait before posting it out to you.
Final payment and delivery
Once you are happy with your finished portrait, the remaining balance will be due. As soon as final payment has cleared, I will ship your artwork out to you. Your portrait will be securely packaged to a high standard to ensure its safety in transit. You’ll be sent a tracking link so you can monitor the progress of your portrait in transit.
You can of course opt to collect your portrait from me in person if you wish. I’m located near Liskeard in Cornwall.
Receiving your portrait
When you’ve received your finished artwork, you’ll want to get it framed. I’ll include some framing information with your artwork to assist you in getting it properly framed. You can also view my framing guide for more advice.
When you receive your portrait back from your framers, I’d love to see a photo of it framed. Perhaps your pet could even pose next to it for a photo!
Leave a review
You can also leave me a review if you wish. Reviews are really instrumental in helping me to grow my business, and I’m always so appreciate to hear your feedback. You can leave a review on Google.
